VOLTERRA room

It is a tuscan municipality of 11.267 habitants of Pise province and its fantastic landscape is probably one of the most different and attractive cities of Tuscany. The indisputable historical tradition meets the beautiful nature that offers, from morphology to vegetation and to fauna, a really formidable heritage. The history has signed Volterra from etrurian period to nineteen century, with very important artistic and monumental evidences, that can be admired walking in the old city centre, but also visiting the city's museums: the etrurian Museum, the Municipal Pinacotheca, the Sacral Art Museum, the Alabastro's Ecomuseum.
